Nurture Sequence

A nurture sequence is a series of messages, emails, or touchpoints designed to maintain a relationship with a prospect over time without a direct sales ask.

A nurture sequence is a long-term outreach cadence used for prospects who are not ready to buy now but fit the ICP. Instead of abandoning them or hard-pitching repeatedly, a nurture sequence provides consistent value until a trigger event (budget opens up, they hit the problem, they reach out) converts them to an active opportunity.

The structure: touchpoints every 3–6 weeks, each with genuine value. a relevant article, a case study from their industry, a tip tied to something they mentioned, or a connection introduction. The goal is top-of-mind status and relationship depth, not immediate conversion.

On LinkedIn specifically, nurture happens largely through content: prospects who see your posts regularly experience nurture automatically. Formal nurture sequences are used for prospects who've dropped off the active funnel after a no-response or a "not now."
