Content Pillar
A content pillar is a recurring theme. usually 3 to 5 per creator. that anchors what someone consistently posts about on LinkedIn.
A content pillar is a thematic bucket: a topic or angle a creator returns to repeatedly. Most consistent LinkedIn creators run 3–5 pillars, and every post they publish slots into one of them.
Common pillar mixes for B2B founders: (1) Authority. proof you've done the thing (case studies, contrarian opinions). (2) Education. frameworks, tactics, how-tos. (3) Personal stories. vulnerable narratives that humanize the brand. (4) Social proof. wins, testimonials, public results. (5) Engagement. polls, questions, light commentary.
The benefit of pillars is twofold: predictability for the audience (they know what they signed up for) and creative leverage for the creator (a pillar gives a starting prompt for every post). The benefit of a pillar SYSTEM, rather than a list, is that you can rotate through them deliberately to avoid posting the same thing four days in a row.
