Simone writes like a trusted peer who thinks out loud and admits uncertainty. She uses casual Dutch-inflected English ("Chattie is mijn maatje," "Ik ben verliefd") and treats AI tools as characters with personality rather than features. She's vulnerable about failures ("Ik zat vast in de rat race") but frames them as learning pivots, never as weakness. The tone is conversational, slightly irreverent, and unapologetically opinionated about which tools and strategies actually work.

Chattie is mijn maatje. Ik stop ermee.' mimics a breakup announcement, which is emotionally loaded and unexpected in a business context. The phrase 'Met pijn in mijn hart' adds vulnerability and stakes, making readers assume this is personal before revealing it's strategic. This emotional misdirect is the scroll-stop.
Story opening (3 sentences of emotional setup) → Reason for the pivot (3 bullet points of ethical/business concerns) → Solution introduction (Claude as replacement) → Feature list (5 arrows + benefits) → Social proof (tientallen berichten) → CTA (masterclass announcement). The architecture moves from emotion to logic to action.
The post ends with a masterclass CTA ('maandag 30 maart een online masterclass over Claude. Van 10.00 - 12.30. Deep Dive met Claude.') but the real engagement driver is the phrase 'En ik ga je lere...' which cuts off mid-sentence, forcing readers to click or comment to see the full offer. The 5135 comments suggest readers are asking for the link or expressing their own tool preferences.
Use emotional narrative (breakup, pivot, realization) to frame a product or strategy recommendation, then back it with specific, scannable reasons; the story makes it memorable, the bullets make it credible.
The opening 'Ik heb een nieuwe affaire.' is a romantic metaphor that immediately signals this is not a typical product post. Readers expect gossip or personal news, not a tool review, which creates a delightful mismatch. The follow-up 'Met Claude. Geen idee hoelang hij blijft.' adds humor and honesty about AI volatility, disarming skepticism before it starts.
Metaphor hook (2 sentences) → Emotional commitment statement ('Ik ben verliefd') → Feature list (8 bullet points of what Claude does) → Vulnerability about adoption ('de meesten Claude moeilijk te doorgronden vinden') → Positioning as expert ('ik heb zijn geheime sleutels ontdekt') → Masterclass CTA. The structure mirrors a love letter: attraction, commitment, proof of intimacy, then invitation to share.
The CTA is a masterclass announcement ('maandag 30 maart een online masterclass over Claude. Van 10.00 - 12.30. Deep Dive met Claude.') but the post cuts off mid-sentence again, forcing engagement. The 1556 comments (88% of total engagement) suggest readers are asking for the link, sharing their own Claude experiences, or debating the tool's merits.
Treat a tool or service as a character with personality and agency; use metaphor to make the abstract feel intimate and desirable, then position yourself as the guide who understands its 'secrets.'
En nu zoek ik testers.' is a bold statement that immediately signals a product launch, but the follow-up 'Maar lees eerst ff verder. Of deze tool voor jou ook echt interessant is.' adds a gate and a permission structure, making readers feel like they're being vetted, not sold to. This reverses the typical power dynamic.
Bold statement hook → Qualification gate → Problem identification (masterclass observation) → Insight moment ('Halverwege zag ik het') → Solution description (AI tool for post writing) → Proof of execution ('Het hele weekend ben ik doorgegaan. Als een echte nerd aan het werk.') → Beta CTA. The structure moves from problem to insight to execution, building credibility through effort and speed.
The CTA is a beta tester signup, but the post cuts off mid-sentence ('Ik heb het gebouwd. Dit weekend. Een complete app. (Let op geen custom …'), which forces readers to click or comment. The 1044 comments and 32 reposts suggest readers are asking for access, offering feedback, or sharing the launch with their networks.
When launching a tool or service, lead with the problem you observed (not the solution), then show the insight moment that led to the build, then prove execution speed and personal investment; this builds trust and urgency simultaneously.
Simone's posts end with cliffhangers or incomplete sentences that force readers to click or comment for the full offer. Her top post (6300 engagement) cuts off mid-sentence, and the second and third highest also use this pattern. Wat gebruik jij?') that invite readers to share their own experiences or disagreements, creating a debate dynamic rather than a broadcast.
Reposts are low (0.5% average) because Simone's content is highly personal and opinion-driven, which is less shareable than universal advice. However, the posts that do get reposts (posts 3 and 5 with 32 and 30 reposts respectively) are tool launches and founder stories that readers want to amplify for their own networks. Reposts happen when the post has clear utility (beta access, masterclass) or social proof (other founders' success).
Low. Simone optimizes for reach and comments, not saves. Her posts are time-bound (masterclass dates, tool launches, current events like the ChatGPT-to-Claude switch) and opinion-driven, which makes them less evergreen. Readers engage in the moment but don't return to them later for reference.
Personal stories about switching between AI platforms (ChatGPT to Claude, new tool launches) paired with specific use cases and why the switch matters for business efficiency
Narrative-driven posts about scaling decisions (cutting ad spend, moving to LinkedIn-only, profit vs. revenue) that teach through the creator's own pivot
Tactical breakdowns of how to use AI to automate specific tasks (email responses, funnel building, document creation) without losing control or quality
Announcement posts for new products or masterclasses with a problem-first framing and direct CTA for testers or participants
Posts about other builders (Michel Mousa) or personal breakthroughs that position Simone as part of a peer network, not just a solo expert

Simone posts 3.5 times per week on average, with 10 posts in the last 30 days, suggesting a consistent but not daily cadence. This rhythm allows her to stay visible without overwhelming her audience.
Wednesday mornings at 8 UTC perform best. This timing likely catches European business owners (her primary audience) during their first work hours, when they're checking LinkedIn and have time to engage.
Very long posts (350+ words) average 662 engagement, nearly 2x the overall average of 366. Long posts (180-350 words) average 279 engagement. Simone's audience rewards depth and narrative, not brevity. The sweet spot is 250-400 words: long enough to tell a complete story with setup, insight, and CTA, but short enough to read in one scroll.

Simone's 50% story format paired with 15% problem-solution creates a narrative-first approach that builds trust and authority simultaneously. Stories make her relatable and memorable; problem-solution posts make her credible and actionable. This mix works for her audience of online coaches and course creators because they're buying her perspective and decision-making process, not just her tactics. The very long posts (33% of her content) reward depth-seeking readers who want to understand her thinking, not just get a quick tip. Her low repost rate (0.5%) reflects that her content is highly personal and opinion-driven, which is less universally shareable but more engaging for her core audience.
