Booked Call

A booked call is a scheduled meeting on a sales calendar. usually a discovery, demo, or qualifying conversation with a prospect.

A booked call is the conversion event most B2B funnels are designed around. The prospect has moved from "interested" to "willing to give up 30 minutes for a real conversation." On LinkedIn, the path to a booked call typically runs: post → comment → DM → calendar link → booked.

The metric that matters at this stage is no-show rate, not just book rate. A funnel that books 30 calls and has 18 show up is worse than one that books 20 calls with 19 showing up. Prospects no-show when the call is booked too cold (mismatch between trust and ask) or when the booking flow doesn't reinforce why the call matters.

Reducing no-shows: send a personalized confirmation message within 24 hours of booking, attach an agenda or pre-call resource, and use a calendar tool that requires the prospect to confirm before the slot is held. Top performers see 90%+ show rates; the median is closer to 70%.
