Featured Section

The Featured section pins up to 5 items on a LinkedIn profile. posts, links, or media. for permanent visibility independent of the feed algorithm.

The LinkedIn Featured section appears directly below the About section and lets you pin up to 5 items: posts, external links, media files, or articles. Unlike feed posts, Featured items stay pinned indefinitely. they don't disappear from the feed after 24–48 hours. For any visitor to your profile, Featured is the first place to showcase proof.

High-converting uses: pin your best-performing lead magnet directly; pin a post with 10K+ impressions (social proof); pin a case study or named client result; pin your newsletter subscribe link; pin a calendar booking link.

Strategic sequence: treat Featured as a 5-step trust ladder. the first item proves credibility (case study, result), the second proves audience fit (your most-relevant post), the third offers value (lead magnet), and items four and five either reinforce or provide a conversion action (newsletter, booking link).
